What is Session Zero?
Session Zero is an app designed to connect tabletop RPG players and Game Masters based on compatibility—so everyone can spend less time searching and more time playing games they’ll actually enjoy.
How will it work?
Players and Game Masters will each fill out short profiles describing their preferences and campaign details. When a player searches for games, Session Zero highlights the ones that are the best match—based on what we learn through ongoing community research.
What kind of “compatibility” are you measuring?
Right now, we’re exploring how players describe their preferences and how Game Masters describe their campaigns. We’re not locked into any one system—we’re letting the data guide us.
Could I change my preferences later?
Yes! Session Zero will let players update their preferences and GMs update their campaign listings at any time. We know that play styles evolve, and the app will evolve with you.
Who’s building Session Zero?
Session Zero is being built by two Game Masters who want to make it easier for people to find games they’ll love. This is a passion project, built from the ground up with the community in mind.
